According to Shenzhen Customs, in the first seven months of this year, the total value of Shenzhen's foreign trade import and export reached 1.61 trillion yuan, up 1.6% year-on-year, of which the export was 880.61 billion yuan. In July, the import and export reached 275.2 billion yuan, up 13.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 4.6 percentage points faster than that in June, and the growth trend was further consolidated.
From the perspective of trade mode, in the first seven months, Shenzhen's general trade import and export reached 824.1 billion yuan, up 6.6% year-on-year, which promoted the overall foreign trade growth of the whole city by 3.2 percentage points, continuing the growth momentum since March.
In terms of major import and export commodities, the export of computers and other automatic data processing equipment and their components increased slightly. On the import side, the import of electronic components and agricultural products increased rapidly, especially consumer goods such as fruits, meat, edible vegetable oil and beauty cosmetics.
From the perspective of major trading partners, in the first seven months, among the major trading partners of Shenzhen, the import and export to ASEAN was 248.38 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%; It has increased in different degrees to the European Union, Britain, South Korea, Japan and other countries and regions.
It is worth mentioning that in the first seven months, the import and export of private enterprises in Shenzhen reached 973.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%, which played an obvious role in stabilizing the city's foreign trade.
